Low orbit is a scrapyard now. Somebody has to work it.
You fly a salvage ship on real Newtonian physics. Nothing stops when you let go of the throttle — you carry your momentum, and every burn you make you pay for twice, once to build it and once to kill it.
Pick a drop point, take her out, cut debris loose, and haul it home before the propellant runs out. The rings on the map are measured in minutes of flight, and the far ones are only rumoured until somebody surveys them.
Salvage is a business. Between dives you sell your haul, repair the hull, refuel, and outfit the ship — and there is a payment due whether the last run went well or not. Fly too far, cut too greedily, or come home light, and the numbers catch up with you.
